Event Details

This networking event aims to build relationships and increase awareness of local business and tourism products to generate opportunities for partnerships, packages and referrals between operators.

We will start off with a workshop and mentoring on how to bundle products and create itineraries between small business operators to encourage visitors to stay longer, explore more of our region and spend more at our small local businesses. A speed-networking session will then take place to build relationships and learn more about other tourism experiences and operators we have in our region. With regular networking time with light snacks and refreshments to end the event.

The goal of this event is to:

1. Create 'Tourism Hero's' for our region that can interact with our visitors offering suggestions on other local business to visit while in region.

2. Increase knowledge between businesses of what they each have to offer with a focus to build relationships and increase referrals.

3. Improve partnerships and promote the creation of packages between business to give visitors a variety of itineraries and reason to stay in region longer.

The Small Business Networking & Partnerships Event is proudly supported and funded by the Queensland Government.
